Play'n GO's European Roulette Pro offers a concrete rule example: a single-zero wheel has numbers 1–36 plus green zero, and each chip covers the pockets defined by its position.
This page explains game formats and rules; it is not a playable lobby. Check the relevant service for current game availability and the exact version in use.
A BD333 source-page topic used to explain table-round decisions.
A separate source-page topic settled by event and period.
A straight-up chip on one number covers only that pocket. A dozen chip covers twelve numbers, while a split covers two neighbouring positions on the betting layout. A red chip covers red numbers but not zero. The wheel produces one pocket, then each chip is checked against its own covered set.
This is why a small-screen label matters. A chip near the border of cells can change which two or four numbers are selected. Expand the bet detail or zoom the layout before Spin; the displayed total stake should match all the chips you see.
Imagine one chip on 26 and another on the third dozen, 25–36. If the ball stops on 26, both chips cover the result. If it stops on 24, neither covers it; if it stops on 30, only the dozen chip covers it. The two chips were both paid regardless of how many won. This is set membership, not a pattern that improves the wheel.
A straight-up bet and a dozen bet use different stated payouts. Counting two winning chips without counting both original stakes would overstate the net result. The table's rule panel is the place to read the actual payout schedule.
Green zero is outside red/black, odd/even and the 1–18 and 19–36 groups in the cited rules. A colour history does not change the wheel's next result. If a favourite or preset layout restores several chips in the Play'n GO version, it also restores their combined cost. Check that total before starting another spin.
Saved positions are a convenience for entering selections, not a prediction. On a narrow screen, the total chip value may be easier to read than every small placement, so use both views.
A cricket score can continue changing until the named period ends. A roulette spin settles once its final pocket is known. Both require reading a complete outcome, but their clocks and result units differ. Leave a selection unconfirmed if the detail panel does not show the event period or the chip coverage clearly.
Yes. If a result belongs to both covered sets, both chips meet their conditions. Each chip is also a separate stake.
No. In the cited European Roulette Pro rules, zero is outside odd/even and red/black groups.
No. Restored chips are placements for a new paid spin; their combined value is the new total stake.
